Business Western Cape (BWC)

Business Western Cape (BWC) held its Annual General Meeting today whereby Mr Lesley Africa was nominated as the chairperson of Business Western Cape (BWC) and Mr Gert Du Plessis was nominated as the deputy chairperson.

Mr Africa is also the CEO of Western Cape Business Opportunities Forum (WECBOF) and Mr Gert Du Plessis is the Chairperson of the Afrikaanse Handels Instituut (AHI).

Business Western Cape’s vision is to create a growing, developing and inclusive economy for the Western Cape and ultimately South Africa, supported by a unified provincial non-racial business chamber organisation. The result of which will create a better business climate, especially in the Western Cape, Southern Africa and throughout the African continent.

Business Western Cape also participates as part of Organised Business on the Provincial Development Council.
